Okay. I'm no expert on award shows and the music industry, but I have a bone to pick. At the Grammys this year, which I didn't watch because I was skyping and didn't much care for seeing Lady Gaga do something odd and I wasn't some 11 year old wanting to see Justin Beiber. Anyways, it's been a few weeks and I read Entertainment Weekly every so often (mostly because I rather enjoy film reviews and hearing about the royal wedding. Such odd things we focus on) and then I read a story that just bugged me.

Beiber fans attack Esperanza Spalding's wikipedia and go off on Twitter.

*insert Death the kid here* HOLD THE PHONE

Seriously? Seriously? Now I know that the average Beiber fan is like 11, but this is just plan out of control. According to multiple sources, her page was vandalized by having things such as "DIE IN A HOLE" and being called retarded as well as some racist statements were posted on Twitter. I mean, for god's sake her middle name was changed to quesadilia . Seriously, get over it.

I can't say much for Beiber's singing, but someone needs to police his fan base. Attacking someone isn't going to help your cause, he didn't win. I don't care if your 11 or 99, you need to watch what you say, epically over the web. The fact of it, you've forced editors on Wikipedia time to erase such rude statements because of an award. I know Grammy awards can vault careers, but Miss. Spalding's music could be just as good as Beiber's and maybe better. The thing it, music is a very odd subject that varies in genres and styles. I mean, I love Japanese Soundtrack Music and I know I hate on Beiber and this is why.

So basically, this is what I'm saying. It is the fans, the few who need to go crazy, that make your icon look like he's nothing but a baby faced, high pitched singer. I mean, for all I know Justin Beiber can be the nicest person away from the glitz, glam and bright lights. You need to calm down. Calling yourselves "True Belibers" is a little too crazy. I mean, as coming from that fandom, not even the Twihards are that bad.

So, calm down, keep your heads. Because last time I checked, none of us fans of music have a Grammy either.
